Hi, I am Susan Baxter and I have been working as an LPN in Alberta for the past 30 years.
Just A Little Help was started after experiencing first hand the needs of families and individuals struggling in their homes after a hospitalization, surgery, illness or simply just an aging process. Susan Baxter comes to you with a background of 29 years LPN nursing in surgery, labour/delivery, trauma, urgent care, public health and most recently seniors homecare. Susan saw the gaps that are evident in the current healthcare system and wanted to provide a holistic service that allows an individual to remain in their home and give families peace of mind.HOME CARE SERVICESJust a little help provides safe, competent, skilled nursing care and services that are specialized and tailored to your loved ones needs. At Just A Little Help we’re dedicated to providing caring at home personal care providers with excellent clinical experience and healthcare certifications. Our team are individuals with a proven track record for working effectively with Alberta medical professionals and patients of all ages.
Specializing in urgent care, trauma/surgery, repatriation and vaccinations. Providing safe and effective nursing care according to Alberta Health Services policies, procedures, and nursing care standards. We observe, monitor, report, and document changes in the patient's physical, mental, and emotional state, assisting the patient with activities of daily living and provides the patient and family with relevant information and teaching.
Just a little help can provide assistance ranging from 3 hours care to a specific time period that will meet your care needs. We also offer assistance to be a contact person for First alert for the times you are away on holidays or out of town for your loved one. We are available for overnight stays for those special short term needs that come up expectantly.
