Wise words. Part of fitness and health is knowing when to rest.

Are you stressed? Then doing your high intensity classes might not be a great idea that day. Go for a walk instead. Or do some meditative yoga. Rest is something we all can learn to do better.

Haha this is how I feel about running!! I do small amounts of cardio, but I prefer weights for sure! Funny lady, that Joan Rivers.

What is your favorite recipe that incorporates maple syrup? I like to use this healthier sweetener in some of my treats and snacks. For instance, the Oh She Glows Cookie Dough Balls V are my favorite way to use it! (Took pics of the recipe as I couldn't find it online)

I’m still using up my tabbouleh so I decided to make chickpea wraps. The chickpeas are seasoned with Chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper, are stuffed into a pita and are topped with tabbouleh, olives, hummus, and tzaziki. Was super yummy and quick, especially because the tabbouleh was already made.

The most delicious quinoa salad! Can be made vegan easily by eliminating the feta cheese. Quinoa, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, grape tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, and feta cheese topped with the most amazing dressing. Dressing found here and also tastes great if you add a bit of lemon juice to it: http://naturopathicbynature.com/glory-bowl-dressing/ Thanks for the recipe, Deb!

Buddha bowl! I haven’t done this in so long and I missed it! Roasted butternut squash, sautéed onions, black beans, roasted Brussels sprouts, and sprouted rice/quinoa blend on top of spinach and sprinkled with dilly dressing and cashews. Oh my! The dressing was made from the brine of my fermented carrots and it can be found here: https://yangsnourishingkitchen.com/pickle-juice-salad-dressing/ — feeling inspired.

Salmon, sautéed veggies, and sweet potato fries with a dollop of homemade chipotle dip. Very satisfying.
