Stormy Acres is a family farm near Aldersyde, Alberta that grows nine varieties of hops on 1.25 acres.  
We have uprooted our lives to put down roots in hops.

At Stormy Acres we are committed to growing the best possible hops to supply the highest quality ingredients to local, Alberta brewers.

Hops offer an amazing array of qualities to products more than just beer.  (Though we love to see it in beer!)  Hops are a good source of antioxidants which can give the skin a youthful glow. They also possess anti-inflammatory qualities to help reduce puffiness and redness.  These (and many other reasons) are why we have infused our hops into olive oil and turn it into soap!


Our soap is made using Natural Ingredients, following a traditional recipe and, put plainly, is Real Soap.
Using olive oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter as our base we have crafted three varieties of Hop Soap scented with Essential Oils.  Our Best Selling Beer Soap uses the same natural base with the addition of High River Brewing Craft Beer.

We continue to expand our love of hops the more we learn about them.  We have added them to bath salts and pillows for sleep and tinctures for digestions.  As beer lovers, we have also enjoyed creating Beer Gear.
