At 34 I had a NDE where I heard a voice tell me that “it wasn’t my time. I had to go back”. Four months would pass and I would have a stroke in which the left side of my body was partially paralyzed. 
After both, I would begin to experience what I now know to be considered, “awakenings”. I experienced such immense love after feeling the warmth of the white and yellow light that surrounded me after my near death. Then the extreme sensitivities to energies of others and their loved ones.
I would begin to “see”, sense things happen before they happened. See Spirit on the otherside, hear them, feel them and just know things without knowing how!
I would hear that inner voice, the Divine, the Creator’, God, however you want to call “it”, the true Authentic Self that I am. “We” met in the wee hours of a Fall morning. I was fast asleep in my bed, in pitch black, next to my bedroom window where I would hear as clear as day, what sounded like someone right overtop of me shout my name, “CHARLOTTE”. I would jump out of bed looking for someone outside. The street was empty. I would realize later, My High Self was getting my attention. And it worked!
Several months would go by and so many experiences with spirit, now knowing fully what that even meant!! I would visit a famous local medium and she would sit me down infront of her, across her small round table and say as she held up a card, “You are like me”. This validated and confirmed that I was not alone, I was not losing my mind and that I believe, I had work to do. And what a process it has been and continues to be!!
One night as I was finishing up a meditation, I was getting ready to fall asleep, when a warm ball of heat was at my tale bone. The heat swirled up my spine and out of the top of my head. It felt intense, but at the same time, peaceful as it left. I fell right to sleep. A couple nights later, I would be getting ready to fall asleep and when I closed my eyes, a white ball of light was in the center of my physical eyes. It startled me, so when I opened them the light was gone and I fell back to sleep peacefully. I would have what I now know was a “kundalini” awakening. 
Since then I have began to fully honor the connection to The Higher Power and have allowed this “loveliness” to unfold as it is meant to. And because of that, I have been on my Silver Lining Healer Journey helping others with guidance, understanding their own Awakening journey. Giving messages to loved ones from the other side, empowering people to becoming aware of their own inner voice. For me, it is always about coming from a place of love because that is who we truly are.
